A funnel is a mini-website with one job: turn a visitor into a lead. You do not need to design anything from scratch — the fastest first page starts from a template.

The steps

  1. Open Sites and create a funnel

Click Sites in the left sidebar, make sure the Funnels tab is selected at the top, then click + New Funnel (top-right corner).

  2. Pick a template

Browse the template gallery and pick a simple lead capture layout — a headline, a short form, and a button. Fancy comes later; simple converts fine.

  3. Open the page editor

Click your new funnel, then click Edit Page on its first step. The drag-and-drop builder opens: click any text to retype it, click any image to swap it.

  4. Rewrite the headline for your offer

Say the one thing you are offering and who it is for — for example, “Free 15-minute plumbing quote for Las Vegas homeowners.” Clear beats clever every time.

  5. Check the form fields

Click the form on the page. Keep it short: name, phone, email. Every extra field costs you sign-ups. Submissions automatically become contacts — which means your auto-reply workflow greets them instantly.

  6. Save and publish

Click Save (top-right), then back on the funnel screen, grab the page’s URL from the funnel step. Open it in an incognito window and submit the form yourself as a test.

Success check: your test submission appears in Contacts, and (if you built the workflow tutorial) your phone gets the auto-reply text.

Common questions

“Funnel or website — which do I build first?” Funnel. A one-page funnel with a form starts producing leads this week; a full website is a bigger project for later.

“Can I use my own domain name?” Yes — under Settings → Domains you connect something like offers.yourbusiness.com. Until then the page runs on a built-in address that works fine for testing and ads.

“Will the page look right on phones?” Templates are mobile-friendly by default, but always check: the builder has a phone-preview toggle at the top. Most of your visitors will be on phones.
