How to Create Your GoHighLevel Account (Step by Step)
This guide walks you through creating a GoHighLevel account from zero. You do not need any technical skills. You only need an email address, a phone number, and about 10 minutes.
What you need before you start
- A working email address you check often.
- Your business name (or your own name if you don’t have one yet).
- A credit or debit card. The trial is free, but the sign-up form asks for a card. You will not be charged during the trial if you cancel in time.
Plain-English note: a “free trial” means you get full access for 30 days without paying. If you do nothing, billing starts after the trial ends. If you cancel before that, you pay nothing. Set a phone reminder for day 25 so the choice stays yours.

Click the big “Start Your Free Trial” button
On the page that opens, look for the large button near the top of the screen. Click it. A sign-up form appears.

Fill in your business details
Type your full name, business name, email address, and phone number into the form fields. Double-check the email address — your login details go there.

Choose a plan
You will see two main choices. In plain English:
- Starter — everything one business needs. Pick this if you are learning or running your own company.
- Unlimited — lets you create separate accounts for multiple businesses. Pick this only if you run an agency.
Not sure? Choose Starter. You can upgrade later with two clicks.

Enter your card details
Type your card number, expiry date, and security code into the payment boxes, then click the confirm button at the bottom of the form. Remember: nothing is charged during the 30-day trial.

Verify your email address
Open your email inbox in a new tab. Find the message from HighLevel and click the confirmation link inside it. If you don’t see it within two minutes, check your spam folder.

Log in and say hello to your dashboard
After verifying, you land on the login screen. Enter your email and the password you created. You should now see your dashboard — a screen with a dark menu on the left side and number cards in the middle.
Success check: you know this worked when you can see the dark sidebar on the left of your screen with the word “Dashboard” highlighted at the top of it.
Common problems (and easy fixes)
“I never got the verification email.” Wait five minutes and check spam. Still nothing? Go back to the sign-up tab and click “resend email.”
“My card was declined.” Some banks block new online subscriptions by default. Call the number on the back of your card and ask them to approve it, then try again.
“I see a blank white screen after logging in.” Refresh the page once. If that fails, try a different browser (Chrome works best).
