TLDR: You import contacts into GoHighLevel with a CSV file, then map its columns to existing contact fields. Excel workbooks and Google Sheets documents need a CSV export first. Before you click Bulk Import, check how HighLevel will match duplicate contacts and whether every contact gave permission for the messages you plan to send.

To upload your contact list, export a CSV, open the importer under Contacts → Smart Lists, map each column to a Contact field, review the settings, and click Bulk Import.

Your list is in Excel, Google Sheets, or another CRM, but HighLevel does not have those contacts yet. You are looking at the column headers and wondering where each name, number, and custom detail belongs. Start with a CSV export: HighLevel’s contact-import guide, updated March 18, 2026, specifies CSV as the accepted format. This guide from GHL.Support walks you through CSV export, field mapping, duplicate checks, consent, and import errors.

I read HighLevel’s CSV formatting guide, its contact import guide and its guide to duplicate contacts before writing this, and you need to check your field mapping separately from your contact matching settings. Create the destination fields before uploading. Then choose whether your file should create records, update them, or do both.

How do you get your list into a CSV?

An older business owner works on his laptop from the sofa, from our import contacts guide
Excel CSV exports save only the active sheet.

Export your contact worksheet as a CSV before opening the importer. HighLevel’s CSV-format guide, updated February 25, 2026, requires a header row and one sheet per file. For new contacts, include at least First Name, Email Address, or Phone Number.

    1. In Excel, open your workbook and select File → Save As or Save a Copy. Choose a location and filename, then select a CSV format from the file-type box. Microsoft’s workbook export instructions say CSV saves only the active sheet and text formats remove formatting.
    2. In Google Sheets, open your file and use File → Download as, then select CSV. Google’s undated Excel and Sheets guide uses the label Download as and lists CSV as a format.
    3. In your CRM, export the contact list as a CSV, using that CRM’s export instructions for the exact menu and button names. Review its column headers against HighLevel’s standard and custom fields before uploading.

Keep your upload below 30 MB. The February 25 CSV-format guide lists a 30 MB maximum, while the getting-started import guide, updated March 24, 2026, permits files up to 50MB. The published limits disagree, so use the smaller figure when splitting your file.

    CSV item What to prepare
Headers Use column names that correspond to standard or existing custom fields.
Phone numbers HighLevel’s February 25, 2026 guide recommends E.164 and gives +11234567890 as its example.
Custom fields Create matching labels and data types in HighLevel before mapping.
Dropdown and multiselect values Match the options already defined in your account.

How do you import contacts into GoHighLevel step by step?

A contractor checks a tablet in a room under renovation, from our import contacts guide
Create custom fields before you map columns to them.

The import opens at Contacts → Smart Lists → Import Contacts. HighLevel’s combined import guide, updated September 16, 2026, names that path and button. The getting-started guide offers Download Sample File if you need an example of standard Contact Fields for contact management.

    1. Confirm your user account has Admin access. HighLevel’s March 18, 2026 contact-import guide restricts contact imports to Admin users.
    2. Create missing fields through Settings → Custom Fields → Add Field. Select the field type, fill in its details, and click Save.
    3. Open Contacts → Smart Lists and click Import Contacts. Select Contacts, click Next, then click Upload File and choose your CSV.
    4. Open Choose how to import contacts/opportunities. Choose whether the CSV should create records, update records, or do both.
    5. Map each spreadsheet column to its Contact field. Match each custom-field column to an existing field with the same label and data type.
    6. Name your import, then choose whether to create a Smart List, add a tag, or enroll contacts in a workflow. Leave workflow enrollment unselected until you have checked the intended messaging permission.
    7. Set the import’s consent preferences before you click Bulk Import. Select the required confirmation checkbox, then click Bulk Import.
    8. Wait for the contacts to finish importing. Open Contacts → Bulk Actions in your sub-account, locate the import, and check its status. Click Show Stats to review successful records and errors.

When you map a field, you tell HighLevel where to put each spreadsheet column. Adding a new column to the spreadsheet does not create its destination field. The CSV-format guide says HighLevel ignores an unknown field unless you map it to an existing standard or custom field.

What happens to duplicates when you import contacts?

Two business partners compare laptops at a cafe table, from our import contacts guide
Remove or combine repeated identifiers within your CSV before re-importing into HighLevel.

For CSV imports, HighLevel checks email or phone for an existing contact and automatically merges matching contacts. HighLevel’s deduplication guide, updated April 7, 2026, excludes CSV uploads from Allow Duplicate Contact, so enabling it does not force a duplicate CSV record. Before you import an update file, open Settings → Business Profile → Contact Deduplication Preferences and check whether Email or Phone is the primary match.

    1. Before uploading, check your CSV for repeated emails, phone numbers, Contact IDs, or other unique values. The September 16, 2026 combined import guide treats these repetitions as import errors. Remove or combine duplicates before importing or retrying the file.
    2. Open Settings → Business Profile → Contact Deduplication Preferences.
    3. Review Find Existing Contacts Based On. The guide lists Email as the default and Phone as another choice.
    4. Review Second Preferences for Search if you want a secondary matching field. For an update, include the applicable Contact ID, email, or phone in your CSV.

Choose Update Only when your task is to revise existing records. Choose Create & Update when your list includes both existing contacts and new entries. The March 18 contact-import guide documents the update matching order as Contact ID → Email → Phone, while the deduplication guide describes your configurable email and phone preferences.

Use contact identifiers to match contacts and the Opportunity ID to match an existing deal in your sales pipeline. HighLevel’s opportunity-import guide, updated September 17, 2026, requires the correct Opportunity ID to update an existing deal. If the CSV lacks the correct Opportunity ID, HighLevel may create another opportunity instead of updating the intended one.

Are you allowed to text or email an imported list?

A florist reads a tablet in her shop, from our import contacts guide
HighLevel requires valid permission before sending SMS.

Your import does not establish permission for SMS marketing. HighLevel’s LC Phone messaging policy, updated September 15, 2026, states: “Send SMS only to contacts who have provided valid permission.” It also states: “Consent cannot be purchased, sold, or exchanged.”

Your email marketing needs permission too. HighLevel’s email sender requirements guide, updated June 30, 2026, says: “Only send emails to people who have given permission to receive them.” Confirm your consent process with your own counsel before enrolling imported contacts in messaging workflows.

Before you click Bulk Import, check whether the wizard will add your contacts to a workflow. The import wizard offers workflow enrollment, and the messaging policy applies to manual texts, workflows, and bulk actions. Initial text messaging must identify the business and provide an opt-out method, and withdrawn SMS consent requires a valid new opt-in before further sending.

What do you do when the import fails?

An office manager takes a call at her desk, from our import contacts guide
Click Show Stats to review import results and errors.

Open Contacts → Bulk Actions, find your import, and click Show Stats. HighLevel’s Bulk Actions guide, updated March 23, 2026, names Download as the error-log control. HighLevel describes failed-record identifiers and actionable reasons as the error log’s typical contents.

    1. Enter the sub-account where you ran the import, then open Contacts → Bulk Actions.
    2. Locate the import and click Show Stats. Review successful records and failures, then open the Error tab described in the import guide.
    3. Use Download to save the error log. Correct the affected identifiers, field formats, or mappings and retry the failed rows.

Do not treat Restore as an import rollback for your list. The Bulk Actions guide reserves it for eligible contact deletions, and the opportunity-import guide says completed opportunity imports have no one-click undo. Test a small sample before processing a large contact-and-opportunity file.

What does a HighLevel account cost for your contact list?

A business owner smiles during a phone call outdoors, from our import contacts guide
HighLevel lists messaging usage charges separately from its subscription.

Your monthly subscription and messaging usage are separate charges. HighLevel list price as of October 9, 2026: Starter is $97 a month, Unlimited is $297 a month, and Agency Pro is $497 a month, according to the pricing page. The page lists unlimited contacts on all plans, which does not remove the documented CSV file-size limits.

Compare Starter, Unlimited, and Agency Pro before you choose a monthly subscription. For sub-account administration, read your contract and follow the sub-account transfer guide. Check your messaging usage rates separately from those pricing plans.

FAQ: CSV contact imports in HighLevel

A garage owner reads a tablet in his workshop, from our import contacts guide
The September 22, 2026 restoration guide gives eligible deleted contacts a 60-day recovery window.

What CSV format, columns, and file limits does HighLevel require?

HighLevel’s February 25, 2026 CSV-format guide accepts MM/DD/YYYY, YYYY/MM/DD, MM-DD-YYYY, and YYYY-MM-DD for date fields, and you should use one format consistently. Your file must be .csv with one sheet and a header row matching standard or existing custom fields. For new contacts, include at least First Name, Email Address, or Phone Number. The February 25 guide lists a 30 MB maximum, while the March 24, 2026 getting-started guide permits up to 50MB, so keep your file below the smaller limit.

Why is HighLevel saying my import has unmapped fields?

Map each spreadsheet column to a destination field, or exclude that column from your import. The combined import guide names Don’t import data for unmapped columns as the option for intentionally omitted data. Map mandatory fields before proceeding.

How do I stop a CSV import from creating duplicate contacts?

HighLevel merges existing contacts matched by email or phone, while repeated identifiers within your CSV need separate cleanup. Use the Contact ID for an existing record, or an Email or Phone value that matches your Contact Deduplication Preferences. Remove or combine rows with repeated emails, phone numbers, Contact IDs, or other unique values before re-importing. The April 7, 2026 deduplication guide adds that changes in that panel apply automatically without a Save or Update Information button.

How do I add tags, workflows, and opportunities during an import?

At the initial selection, choose Contacts + Opportunities. At review, add tags or enroll the imported contacts in a workflow. For an Opportunities-only import, the September 17, 2026 guide requires Contact ID, Opportunity Name, and Pipeline in each row. Create your pipelines, applicable stages, and Opportunity custom fields first, because those custom fields are separate from Contact custom fields.

Can I text or email imported contacts, and what will it cost?

After you confirm permission, budget for the published email and SMS usage charges. The LC Email guide, updated August 20, 2026, lists $0.675 per 1,000 emails across all plans and charges for incoming and outgoing mail, including To, CC, and BCC recipients. The phone pricing guide, updated September 29, 2026, lists US and Canada inbound and outbound SMS at US$0.00747 per segment, plus carrier fees. If an agency manages your account, request its actual usage rates before enrolling the list.

How do I fix import errors or clean up a bad import?

For failed rows, open Contacts → Bulk Actions → Show Stats → Download, correct the listed problems, and re-import only those rows. For accidental deletions during your cleanup, HighLevel’s restoration guide, updated September 22, 2026, gives eligible deleted contacts a 60-day recovery window. For an eligible bulk deletion, use Contacts → Bulk Actions → the deletion job’s three-dot menu → Restore, then confirm Restore. The guide states that accounts it describes as HIPAA-compliant do not permit restoration.

GHL.Support is independent and not affiliated with HighLevel, Inc. If you start a HighLevel account through a link on this page we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes a number we publish. Read our full disclosure.

TLDR: Your GoHighLevel dashboard uses widgets to show opportunity status, monetary value, conversion and activity. For an opportunity widget, check its pipeline, date property and date range. Open Conditions on supported widgets to see which records the result includes.

HighLevel dashboard widgets show your opportunity status and value, conversion rates, tasks, campaign actions, funnel progression, current stage placement, and opportunity counts and values by lead source, which you interpret by checking each widget’s supported filters and date settings.

Your dashboard shows a revenue figure that does not match the payments you received. The next chart counts the same opportunity in an earlier stage, even though you moved it forward. The revenue widget sums won opportunity values, while Funnel keeps counting an opportunity in applicable earlier sections after you move it forward. Each section explains what your key widgets measure, where to customize them and which settings change totals.

I read HighLevel’s dashboard widget guide, its custom dashboard guide and its Lead Source Report guide before writing this, and your Lead Source Report counts opportunities, not unique contacts, in Total leads. The widget guide, updated March 25, 2026, explains the measures. The custom dashboard guide, updated November 25, 2025, gives you the creation steps.

What do key GoHighLevel dashboard widgets show?

A carpenter checks his laptop in the workshop, from our GoHighLevel dashboard guide
Opportunity widgets distinguish record counts from monetary values.

Your sub-account dashboard uses widgets to report on contacts, appointments, opportunities, calls and revenue. Use the table to match each General widget to the number or activity it reports. Treat the catalog as a menu of available dashboard widgets, not a promise that every card appears in your account.

Widget What the number or chart tells you
Opportunity Status The status of your opportunity records.
Opportunity Value The monetary value of opportunities by status.
Conversion Rate Conversion rate and revenue from won opportunities.
Funnel Cumulative progression through your visible sales funnel stages.
Stages Distribution Where open opportunities currently sit, with Won and Lost shown separately.
Tasks Tasks and their assigned team members.
Manual Actions Manual SMS and phone-call actions in campaigns.
Lead Source Report Opportunity counts and values grouped by source.

For your pipeline management, separate the count from the value. The opportunity widget reference, dated June 18, 2026, lists 17 opportunity widgets, including Opened Opportunities and Opened Opportunity Value. The former counts open records, while the latter adds their monetary values.

First choose a record count or monetary value in your CRM, then choose the chart that displays it. Won Opportunity Value adds values on won records, and Total Opportunity Value includes every status. HighLevel’s reporting FAQs, updated March 8, 2024, explain that location-dashboard revenue represents won opportunity values rather than payments received.

How should you read opportunity and lead-source numbers?

A business owner reviews figures at his desk, from our GoHighLevel dashboard guide
The Lead Source Report’s Total leads count measures opportunities rather than unique contacts.

Your Funnel counts progression, while Stages Distribution shows current placement. HighLevel’s September 19, 2026 explanation of these charts says later-stage opportunities contribute to applicable earlier Funnel sections. Use Stages Distribution when your lead management question is where open work sits now.

Funnel offers two ways to measure conversion in your sales pipeline. A cumulative percentage measures progress from the Funnel’s start. A next-step percentage measures progress from the preceding section.

Your Lead Source Report’s Total leads count measures opportunities, not unique contacts. The Lead Source Report guide, updated October 6, 2026, gives this example: one contact with 3 opportunities counts as 3 leads. Its Source column uses the opportunity’s source, while HighLevel tracks attribution separately.

    1. In your sub-account, open Dashboard, select the dashboard, and click Edit dashboard.
    2. Select Add widget → General → Lead Source Report.
    3. Choose all pipelines or a particular pipeline, set Conditions, and save.
    4. Click a count greater than zero to open the table of opportunities behind that number.
    5. For missing sources, click a count in the N/A row or filter Source → Is empty.

Add the missing source to each opportunity record. Have your forms, funnels, calendars and workflows record a source when they create opportunities. Check that field before attributing a missing channel row to failed lead generation.

How do you customize the GoHighLevel dashboard?

A business owner works on her laptop at a cafe table, from our GoHighLevel dashboard guide
For team access to a GoHighLevel dashboard, turn off Private Dashboard and set access levels for Agency User, Account Admin and Account User before Confirm.

Your new dashboard starts with Quick Start Widgets. Choose suggested widgets or configure your own. For a widget you configure, save the widget first, then save the dashboard layout.

    1. Open Dashboard → Dashboard Selection Menu → + Add Dashboard. If the button is missing, return to dashboard view mode.
    2. Enter the Dashboard Name, then set the Private Dashboard toggle. For team access, turn it off and set access levels for Agency User, Account Admin and Account User.
    3. Click Confirm. The blank dashboard opens Quick Start Widgets.
    4. For suggestions, choose What is your goal? or Top used widgets, then Confirm & Add. For your own configuration, choose + Add a widget manually, or click the Edit pencil → + Add Widget.
    5. If configuring a widget, click Save inside its panel. Click ✓ Save Changes to save the dashboard layout and exit edit mode.

Your Tasks and Manual Actions widgets lack Conditions. Google Business Profile only allows title edits. The General Widget guide, updated October 6, 2026, describes Configure, Conditions and Themes.

Opportunity Status, Opportunity Value, Conversion Rate, Funnel, Stages Distribution and Lead Source Report accept saved Conditions for assigned user, source and attribution. For these General widgets, your pipeline selection sits in widget settings, outside Conditions. Read the active date property and range on the widget alongside its result.

Why do your dashboard numbers look wrong?

A business owner compares printed pages with her laptop, from our GoHighLevel dashboard guide
Pipeline-stage visibility controls which stages appear in GoHighLevel dashboard Funnel and Stages Distribution widgets.

Check whether your opportunity widgets use different dates or record filters. Created On means the opportunity’s creation date, Updated On means its latest modification, and Status Change means its most recent status change. Reopening an opportunity after a Lost status resets Status Change. Historical figures based on Status Change then use the reset timestamp.

    1. Compare your dashboard Date Picker with your colleague’s selection. The dashboard page guide, updated August 28, 2026, says HighLevel saves the range separately for each user.
    2. For an editable General widget with date controls, open Dashboard → Edit dashboard → hover over the widget → ⋮ → Edit → Configure → Advanced settings. Compare Date property, Date range override and Comparison date range, then Save any changes. An explicit widget comparison overrides the dashboard comparison.
    3. For opportunity widgets, compare the pipeline and saved Conditions. For stable historical reporting, the opportunity widget guide recommends Created On with a Status filter.
    4. If a stage is missing from Funnel or Stages Distribution, open Opportunities → Pipelines → open the pipeline. Find the stage and enable its funnel icon for Funnel reporting or its pie-chart icon for Stages Distribution reporting, then Save.
    5. Check active Quick Filters on compatible custom widgets. They add restrictions to saved widget filters instead of replacing them.
    6. For a daily mismatch, compare your timezones before comparing calendar days. Follow the timezone guide, updated December 30, 2025: Dashboard → top-right ⋮ → Manage Dashboard Timezone → select timezone → Save. A timezone change applies to HighLevel’s internal dashboard metrics, not widgets that depend on third-party data.

Your General widgets do not respond to dashboard Quick Filters in the documented release. The Quick Filters guide, updated September 24, 2025, limits that feature to custom widgets with matching data sources. Its example combines Confirmed appointments in a saved widget filter with Cancelled appointments in a Quick Filter, producing no data because both conditions must match.

Click Quick Filters, add the properties, then apply them. FULL or EDIT access allows configuration, while VIEW access allows using configured filters. Select the property for the data source you intend to filter.

    1. Click Quick Filters → + Add Quick Filters.
    2. Select the properties and click Add.
    3. Review the selection, then click Apply.

Are you viewing an agency dashboard or a sub-account?

A boutique owner checks a tablet on the shop floor, from our GoHighLevel dashboard guide
VIEW permission provides read-only dashboard access.

Your sub-account dashboard reports the location’s operating records, while the agency dashboard reports the agency’s business. The agency dashboard guide, updated August 17, 2026, documents Agency View → Agency Dashboard → Summary, SaaS or Reselling. These agency tools cover revenue, recurring subscriptions, customers and reselling performance.

FULL and EDIT let you change dashboards, while VIEW is read-only. The dashboard permissions guide, updated February 2, 2026, says EDIT permits dashboard and widget changes but excludes dashboard deletion, while VIEW is read-only. If an agency administers your account, ask its administrator which dashboard access level your role has.

Dashboard owners and users with FULL permission change access under the permissions guide, while the dashboard page guide limits that control to owners. If it is absent for your FULL role, ask the owner to review access. Owners and users with FULL permission change access through Manage Permissions.

    1. Open dashboard ⋮ → Manage Permissions.
    2. Adjust access, then click Save.

    What does dashboard access cost?

HighLevel's pricing page lists Custom Dashboards & Reporting among core features.

HighLevel’s dashboard creation guide says your monthly subscription includes multiple dashboards and custom reports on Starter, Unlimited and Agency Pro. HighLevel list price as of October 9, 2026: Starter costs $97 a month, Unlimited costs $297 a month, and Agency Pro costs $497 a month. The pricing page lists Custom Dashboards & Reporting among core features.

HighLevel publishes conflicting access rules: its widget catalog starts customization at $297 a month, while its dashboard creation guide includes all plans. Ask your administrator to check permissions before treating a missing Edit control as a plan restriction. Our Starter, Unlimited and Agency Pro guide compares the three pricing plans.

Your monthly subscription does not include every text-message and email usage charge. The pricing page identifies usage charges for text messaging and emails sent, so separate those from your subscription when reviewing email marketing or SMS marketing costs. Use the HighLevel cost calculator to compare subscription and usage costs. The tutorial library gives you more account procedures.

    GoHighLevel dashboard FAQ

A salon owner at her front desk, from our GoHighLevel dashboard guide
Lead-value permission controls monetary visibility in Lead Source Report.

Why can’t I see money in my Lead Source Report?

You need permission to view lead value before the monetary columns appear. Without that permission, the report shows counts only. Ask your account administrator to grant lead-value permission.

Why does my widget ignore the dashboard date range?

Your Won Opportunities Value This Month widget uses the current month unless you modify it in Configure. The opportunity reference distinguishes it from Won Opportunity Value, which follows the dashboard date range. The For You version also limits the result to the logged-in assignee.

How do I change what my task widgets show?

You control the title and reporting date range on Tasks and Manual Actions. Tasks uses the due date, while Manual Actions uses the created date. Neither has a Conditions tab.

Does my dashboard filter affect other users?

Your selected Quick Filters affect your own view. The guide says they persist within your current browser session and do not affect other users. FULL and EDIT users configure Quick Filters for the dashboard, but each viewer selects their own filter values.

Why did my dashboard change pipelines?

When your saved filter points to a deleted pipeline, HighLevel selects the first available option. That fallback applies when a saved filter value no longer exists. Check the selected pipeline before reading the replacement results.

Who can set the default dashboard?

You need an Account Admin or Agency role with full dashboard access to set the default. EDIT permission does not include that action. Ask the account administrator to review both your role and dashboard permission.

    6. Select Click to upload and review any browser permission prompt for screen access.
    7. Check that the form shows the attached image and the confirmation that the file was added.
    8. Finish the form and send it. Your screenshot goes with the report.

Click to upload captures your entire screen, not only the active window. On some first-time uploads, your browser displays a permission prompt. After you grant screen access, HighLevel captures the screen and attaches the image to your report automatically.

Use the product name when describing your problem, rather than writing only “GHL support needed.” Identify the affected feature and copy the exact error. HighLevel’s October 9, 2026 pricing page lists CRM, email marketing, SMS marketing and workflow automation.

What account details should you send with the issue?

A shop owner works at a key-cutting bench in his workshop, from our GoHighLevel support guide
The Location ID identifies a specific sub-account.

The Relationship Number identifies your agency, while the Location ID identifies your sub-account. Send whichever identifier support asks for. HighLevel’s Relationship Number instructions, updated August 18, 2026, restrict viewing that number to Agency Admins and Agency Owners. HighLevel’s Location ID instructions tell you not to share the Location ID outside your organization.

    1. For the agency: open the upper-left Sub-Account Switcher → Switch to Agency View → Settings → Company → Company Data, then click the copy icon beside Relationship Number.
    2. For the business location: open the affected sub-account → Settings → Business Profile, then locate the Location ID.
    3. Check that each identifier belongs to the account involved in your request.

For a failed phone-number purchase, HighLevel’s September 18, 2026 phone guide gives you a specific checklist. Include the sub-account name, Location ID, country, number type, selected number if applicable, exact error, screenshot or screen recording, and troubleshooting already attempted. If the failed purchase involves Persona verification, a Regulatory Bundle or an address, include that status.

The phone guide also tells you what to leave out of the report. Do not send passwords, payment-card information, government-issued identity documents or other sensitive credentials unless HighLevel provides an approved secure method for submitting the required information. Use that method when HighLevel requests sensitive information.

Enable Support Access when the team needs to investigate inside your account. The June 1, 2026 access guide describes temporary access with an expiration date. This control is separate from regular user roles and permissions.

    1. Open Agency View → Settings → Company → Advanced Settings → Support Access.
    2. Toggle Support Access on and choose or confirm the expiration date if prompted.
    3. If HighLevel displays Save, click it, then confirm the active-access message.
    4. For more troubleshooting time, return to Agency View → Settings → Company → Advanced Settings → Support Access and click Extend access.
    5. Choose the new expiration date in Access expires on, review the confirmation message and click Save.
    6. When troubleshooting ends, click Revoke access. HighLevel warns that this may end your active support session immediately, and support cannot resume until you enable Support Access again. Click Revoke access again to confirm.

What does Premium Support cost and include?

HighLevel bills Premium Support separately from your main subscription.

Premium Support costs you $500 a month or $5,000 a year, and HighLevel bills it separately from your main monthly subscription. HighLevel’s Premium overview, updated August 12, 2026, lists both prices. Eligibility begins after you complete 90 days with HighLevel.

Published comparison Standard versus Premium, August 12, 2026
Chat and Zoom wait Standard: 6 minutes. Premium: 1 minute.
First ticket response Standard: 10 hours. Premium: 3 hours.
Support channels Both list 24/7 chat, Zoom, ticket and phone support. Phone eligibility and scope still follow the contact instructions above.
Dedicated assistance Premium adds a Technical Account Manager, dedicated communication channel, ticket ownership, quarterly reviews and direct escalation paths.

Your monthly fee covers the Technical Account Manager, dedicated channel, ticket ownership, quarterly reviews and escalation paths listed above. Those minutes and hours measure wait time and first response. Read them as response figures, not a deadline for fixing your issue.

If you choose the add-on, use the August 24, 2026 subscription instructions. You accept the Premium Support terms at checkout. The final purchase button is Pay & Subscribe.

    1. Open agency Settings → Billing and find Premium Support under Addons.
    2. Click Subscribe Now, then choose your billing plan and payment method.
    3. Select I agree to the premium support terms and conditions.
    4. Click Pay & Subscribe.
    5. After subscribing, click the Slack button in the support panel to open the in-app setup form.
    6. Enter a custom channel name, your preferred connection time and time zone, and general comments about the help you need.

How do you follow an unresolved issue or outage?

A woman follows up by phone with her laptop open at an outdoor table, from our GoHighLevel support guide
HighLevel converts unresolved chats and Zoom calls into support tickets.

Continue through the ticket email when your live support session does not resolve the problem. The customer support instructions say agents open tickets for unresolved Zoom issues and escalate unresolved chats. Reply to the agent with the information requested and the results of your troubleshooting.

Check the official status page for the service involved in your issue. It lists components including Conversations, LC Phone, LC Email and Integrations. Read the entries for the service you use before describing the problem to support.

    1. Find the affected service on the status page.
    2. Read the incident entries shown under Previous incidents.
    3. Use Subscribe to status updates → Subscribe to follow status updates.
    4. Reply to your ticket email with the requested information and the result of the suggested troubleshooting.

Use the Help Center knowledge base for your setup instructions and the community for peer discussion. HighLevel’s support journey guide directs account-specific technical troubleshooting to official support. Ask the agent handling your ticket to escalate an issue that needs deeper technical investigation.

Starting a HighLevel account in your own name?

HighLevel lists Starter at $97 a month as of October 9, 2026.

HighLevel list price as of October 9, 2026: Starter is $97 a month, Unlimited is $297 a month, and Agency Pro is $497 a month. The HighLevel pricing page lists those amounts. Compare the subscription plans and read your contract before making an account decision.

Start your own HighLevel account through our link and you pay HighLevel directly, from $97 a month. We earn a commission from HighLevel at no extra cost to you. HighLevel’s pricing page lists a 14-day free trial on any plan.

What else should you know about reaching support?

An older business owner takes a call at his laptop, from our GoHighLevel support guide
HighLevel publishes international support phone numbers.

Who should I contact for GoHighLevel support, HighLevel or my agency?

Without Agency View, contact your agency admin. Subscription changes also go through that administrator if you bought access through an agency, and HighLevel’s September 16, 2026 billing guide says HighLevel cannot cancel that agency’s managed account. Use our guide to platform prices and agency charges to compare HighLevel’s platform price with your agency’s charge.

How do I open live chat, join Zoom support or submit a ticket?

Use the desktop Help & Support panel for Agent Chat, a Zoom request or Raise Ticket. If you are locked out, use the main HighLevel website’s chat widget and tell the team you need login help. HighLevel’s August 3, 2026 support options guide also links a support form for locked-out users.

Can I call or email HighLevel, including from outside the US?

Phone support requires you to pass Agency Admin validation, and technical email support starts with a ticket. The August 3, 2026 support options guide lists UK +44 808 502 2329, Australia +61 1800 983 916 and South Africa +27 87 250 2674. It also lists Netherlands +31 97010208764 and Philippines +63 1800 1 550 0097.

What should I have ready before asking for help?

Have your agency login email, Relationship Number and affected sub-account’s Location ID ready. When your browser address contains /location/ or locationId=, the value after that label is your Location ID. HighLevel’s Location ID guide, updated August 12, 2026, calls Settings → Business Profile the most reliable place to verify it.

Is HighLevel down, and how do I follow an incident?

Check the official status page for your affected service and read the incident entries shown there. The page displays a Last updated timestamp, so check when it was refreshed before treating an entry as current. Use Subscribe to status updates to follow updates.

How do I follow up or escalate an unresolved issue?

Your ticket email contains the original conversation history and next steps, according to HighLevel’s August 3, 2026 support options guide. Refer to that history when you reply, and report whether the suggested steps fixed the problem. Ask the agent for escalation when the issue needs deeper technical investigation.

What does Premium Support cost, and do I need it?

Premium is optional at $500 a month or $5,000 a year, with eligibility after 90 days. Both tiers list 24/7 chat, Zoom, ticket and phone support, so you keep those four routes without it. Premium adds faster response times, a dedicated Technical Account Manager, a private Slack channel and Quarterly Business Reviews. During your first 90 days, Customer Success is your primary resource, and technical support remains available. Ending Premium through Billing settings leaves your main HighLevel subscription active, and the August 24, 2026 upgrade guide says its benefits continue until the current billing cycle ends.
