GHL.Support is independent and not affiliated with HighLevel, Inc. If you start a HighLevel account through a link on this page we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes a number we publish. Read our full disclosure.

You have the pricing page open and your card beside you. Before you submit, compare the sub-account limits and expect HighLevel to bill your selected rate when the trial ends unless you cancel. HighLevel’s pricing page, checked October 16, 2026, separates subscription charges from usage charges. The steps below show you where to click, which plan features differ, how to create your workspace, how to secure your login and where to control billing.

I read HighLevel’s pricing page, its agency billing guide and its authenticator setup guide before writing this, and they explain how you choose a plan, manage billing and protect your login. HighLevel’s Terms of Service, updated June 2026, govern your registration. Those terms require complete, current, accurate information when you create an account.

How do you complete your GHL sign up?

Start at HighLevel’s pricing page and click Start Your Trial under the plan you want. HighLevel’s email marketing page, checked October 16, 2026, states that you need a credit card. Its terms specify billing information including your name, address, credit card information and phone number.

1. Open the official pricing page and review the plan cards and billing period.
2. Select Start Your Trial beneath your chosen plan.
3. Complete Step 1 Tell Us About Your Business with current, accurate registration information.
4. Click Go To Step 2 to open Step 2 Trial Details and provide your billing information, including credit card details.
5. Review the selected subscription rate and trial terms before submitting your registration.

If your payment fails because your card requires bank authentication, follow HighLevel’s 3DS signup guide, updated February 4, 2026. That guide directs you to a separate affiliate signup page because the main signup flow did not yet have the same 3DS support. HighLevel describes the $1 authorization as conditional and says it is not a plan or subscription charge.

1. Open the 3DS-supported signup page named in HighLevel’s guide.
2. Start your trial signup and enter your card details.
3. Complete your bank’s authentication prompt if one appears.
4. If authentication fails, retry in an up-to-date browser.
5. Disable ad blockers for the signup page and allow pop-ups or redirects if your browser blocks bank authentication.
6. Try another card if your bank declines verification.

If you buy access through an agency, that agency’s administrator handles your subscription changes and cancellation. HighLevel’s agency billing guide, updated September 16, 2026, directs you to that agency’s administrator for subscription changes or cancellation. Read your contract and ask that administrator which account and subscription your access belongs to.

Which pricing plan fits your account?

Starter includes 3 sub-accounts, Unlimited removes that account limit, and Agency Pro adds SaaS Mode. HighLevel list price as of October 16, 2026: Starter is $97 a month, Unlimited is $297 a month, and Agency Pro is $497 a month. HighLevel lists Starter, Unlimited and Agency Pro in its plan cards and included features, with the monthly prices and features below for your comparison.

Plan	Monthly price and account features
Starter	$97 a month. Includes 3 sub-accounts, unlimited contacts, unlimited users and core features.
Unlimited	$297 a month. Adds unlimited sub-accounts, phone and email rebilling without markup, and basic API access.
Agency Pro	$497 a month. Adds SaaS Mode, automated sub-account creation, phone and email rebilling with markup, and advanced API access.

Your core features include CRM, funnels, email marketing, SMS marketing, workflow automation, social media management and reputation management. The pricing page separately identifies usage charges for telecommunications and AI services. Your monthly subscription therefore does not cover every phone number, text message, email or AI charge.

Choose Starter only when three sub-accounts and its listed core features meet your needs. Unlimited gives you unlimited sub-accounts, while Agency Pro adds SaaS Mode and automated sub-account creation. Use the Starter, Unlimited and Agency Pro comparison alongside the plan cards.

What happens after GHL sign up?

Open Agency View → LaunchPad for guided onboarding if your account is eligible. HighLevel’s Agency LaunchPad guide, updated August 26, 2026, covers eligible Starter, Unlimited and Agency Pro accounts created on or after June 5, 2025. Your user permissions also affect whether LaunchPad appears.

1. Log in to your HighLevel agency account and open LaunchPad in the Agency View navigation.
2. Select an onboarding action, watch its tutorial and complete the action in the platform.
3. Return to LaunchPad to see your progress.
4. If an eligible account lacks LaunchPad, check your role permissions and contact HighLevel Support if it remains unavailable.

Your business workspace is a sub-account. HighLevel’s Agency Sub-Account guide, updated May 19, 2026, defines an Agency Sub-Account as a regular sub-account designated for your own internal business. Choose This is my own account for your internal workspace and This is my client’s account for a client’s workspace.

1. From Agency View, start creating a new sub-account.
2. When the account-type choice appears, select This is my own account for your internal business workspace.
3. Select This is my client’s account only when creating a client’s business workspace.
4. Complete the sub-account creation process.

HighLevel offers this account-type choice only on supported plans and to users with the required permissions. Check your plan and user access if the options are missing. The HighLevel setup checklist covers the next tasks for your chosen workspace.

How do you secure your login and add staff?

Set up your authenticator through Agency View → Settings → My Profile → Security. HighLevel’s authenticator guide, updated October 6, 2026, also places Security in the sub-account profile. Only the logged-in user sets up their own authenticator, so an administrator cannot complete this for you through Login As.

1. Open the authenticator app setup in the Two-Factor Authentication section.
2. Scan the displayed QR code with your authenticator app or enter the supplied setup key.
3. Enter the app’s current verification code and complete verification.
4. Store the generated backup codes securely for use if you lose access to the app.
5. When prompted for two-factor authentication during login, choose the authenticator app option and enter the current verification code from your app.

Configure your staff access in Sub-Account → Settings → Users. The user roles guide, updated October 6, 2026, provides Admin and User roles. Each user’s permissions control their access within your sub-account.

1. Click + Add User.
2. Open Roles & Permissions and select Admin or User.
3. Configure Module and Granular Permissions to enable or restrict supported modules and actions.
4. Enable Only Assigned Data if the user should see only supported records assigned to them.
5. Click Save to apply the role and permission settings.

If you do not receive the login security email, check spam for Login Security Code. HighLevel’s login troubleshooting guide, updated July 10, 2025, also directs users with a missing phone number to their agency administrator. If you are the only agency administrator, contact HighLevel Support to update the number.

When does the trial become paid, and how do you cancel?

HighLevel automatically charges your selected subscription rate when the 14-day trial ends unless you cancel. HighLevel states this in its trial payment terms, checked October 16, 2026. Under HighLevel’s June 2026 Terms of Service, HighLevel bills your subscription in advance each month or year, based on your plan.

For your direct HighLevel subscription, cancellation starts in Agency Settings → Billing. Finish every cancellation screen in HighLevel’s September 16, 2026, billing guide and click Submit. You have not completed cancellation until you enter the required feedback and click Submit.

1. Click Want to Modify/Cancel Your Subscription?
2. Click Show More, then select Cancel Plan.
3. Choose your Reason for Cancellation and click Next.
4. Review the data loss warning, then click I am sure I want to cancel.
5. Provide feedback of at least 30 words, then click Submit.

HighLevel’s pricing page states that usage-based charges apply during your trial where incurred. You still pay usage-based telecommunications or third-party service fees that you incur during the trial. Use the billing, wallet charges and invoices guide to separate subscription payments from service charges.

Where do you start your own HighLevel account?

Start your own HighLevel account through our link and you pay HighLevel directly, from $97 a month. We earn a commission from HighLevel at no extra cost to you. HighLevel’s pricing page lists a 14-day free trial on any plan.

GHL sign up FAQ

What information and payment details do I need?

You need complete, current, accurate registration information plus your name, address, credit card information and phone number for billing. The June 2026 terms also say that when you act on behalf of a business entity, that business owns the platform account. You must have authority to bind that business to the terms.

Should I choose Starter, Unlimited, or Agency Pro, and can I change later?

Open Agency Settings → Billing → Want to Modify/Cancel Your Subscription? to upgrade or downgrade your plan. The September 16, 2026, billing guide gives this upgrade sequence: Upgrade → Monthly/Yearly toggle → select a plan → Upgrade Now → Pay (amount) & Subscribe, with an immediate prorated charge. For a downgrade, review the offered price, effective date and prorated adjustment before confirming. Contact HighLevel Support to change an existing annual subscription back to monthly.

What happens after signup, and where is my business sub-account?

HighLevel’s Agency Sub-Account guide does not say that every new signup already has an internal workspace. The guide tells you how to create an Agency Sub-Account for your internal workspace or find one by its blue badge or account-list filter. Use the blue Agency sub-account badge or the Show agency sub-accounts only filter in your sub-account list to find designated internal accounts.

How do I secure my login, add staff, and use the mobile app?

After setting your login security and staff permissions, open Mobile App inside your sub-account. HighLevel’s mobile app instructions, published March 25, 2025, direct you to open its App Store or Google Play download link on your phone and log in with your desktop credentials. To invite colleagues, select them under Team and click Send Invites.

Why won’t signup work: card declined, email already used, or trial eligibility?

For a card decline, HighLevel’s billing guide directs you to check card details, billing address, available funds and bank restrictions on recurring payments. The Users guide covers staff accounts only: when an email already belongs to a user, follow the Users screen instead of creating a duplicate. It gives no rule for trial eligibility. HighLevel’s April 9, 2026, affiliate guidance gives existing customers no extra trial through its Pro upgrade route, and the June 2026 terms prohibit consecutive trials used to avoid subscription fees.

When does the free trial become paid, and how do I cancel?

HighLevel charges your selected rate after the 14-day trial unless you cancel. Follow the cancellation steps above through Submit. The June 2026 terms say HighLevel provides no refund when you fail to cancel the services tied to your account properly.

Where do I sign up for my own HighLevel account?

For your new signup, follow the pricing page checked October 16, 2026, which offers a 14-day trial on every listed plan. HighLevel’s Pro upgrade guide, updated October 15, 2025, says Pro has no free trial. That conflicts with the pricing page and the April 2026 affiliate guide’s new-customer Pro trial. Read the trial and billing terms before you submit your registration.
